The match up with Randy Couture has been beat to death ever since “The Natural” relinquished his UFC title last year to pursue a fight with the Russian Sambo specialist. Couture was in the ring after the main event fight and the two fighters were interviewed on camera. Couture is prohibited from fighting in any other promotion until his legal situation with Zuffa is resolved. However, we should get some further clarification on that matter before the month is out.

"J'ai été trés satisfait de ma prestation (contre Sylvia). Tout ce que je souhaitais faire, j'ai reussi à le faire...Ouais...J'esperais être capable de finir le combat à ce moment ( La premiere fois qu'il a ammené Sylvia au sol). J'etais preparé à combattre debout, mais j'ai senti que j'avais une meilleure chance au sol....Vous ne savez jamais si le combat va être long ou court, je voulais juste y mettre un terme le plus vite possible. Je souhaitais montrer à mes fans mes capacités....J'etais agreablement surpris du nombre de personnes qui sont venus et qui esperait revenir bientôt...Je serai vraiment honoré d'affronter Randy Couture."

Le combat souhaité contre Randy Couture est tomb" à l'eau depuis que "The Natural" n'a pas defendu sa ceinture de Champion de l'UFC pour obtenir un combat face au specialiste du Sambo. Couture etait dans le ring aprés le combat et les deux combattants ont été interviewés. Couture est toujours interdit de combattre dans une autre organisation que l'UFC tant que sa situtation avec Zuffa n'a pas été resolue. Mais semble t-il, la situation devrait se clarifier dans le mois en cours...
